Colophon

The inspiration for this web site came from a project of wimsy that I stumbled across entirely by accident. If you would like a break from the usual online media, check out www.noscope.com. Currently I am relying heavily on the cascading style sheet that they created, but as I learn more about CSS I will wean myself away from it. If you haven't had a look at CSS, I strongly recommend you do. This site contains practically no tables. It is so much easier to control online content that I don't know why anyone would use anything else.

This site is hosted on an Apache 2 web server with PHP4 and perl 8.5.1. The server is running FreeBSD 5.3 (or it will be shortly). I have tried Linux and BSD is better! Though I would love to host this site on an xServe, no one has volunteered to give me one, so I am using a perfectly good Dell PowerEdge 2550 with dual 1 GHz processors, I Gb of RAM and 136 Gb of RAID 5 storage.

Projects

www.funnelwebcentral.org: Quest Software had a program called Funnel Web Analyzer. Then they stopped supporting it. Now, I host a forum to those that still use the program, answering their questions.
www.fatguy.ca: Because my circle of friends got tired of guessing what to give each other for Christmas and birthdays and whatnot, the plan was hatched for an online registry for what you really wanted. If you don't have a login, you can't get in, sorry... Check back in later for a public version.
